Aside from being a music icon and businesswoman, Madonna also calls herself mother to six wonderful kids. Eldest of them is the 22-year-old Lourdes Leon Ciccone, who, according to Radar Online, might be heading to walk down the aisle soon.
Young Love
Not much is known about the Ciccone and her boyfriend, Jonathan Puglia. Unlike her mom, Ciccone isn’t much for staying in the spotlight it seems. But if Radar is to be believed, the celebrity daughter is talking about marrying her ‘secret’ boyfriend whom she is ‘madly in love’ with.
The 22-year-old is currently living in New York City moving there after studying performing arts at the University of Michigan. She is said to be trying out a career in the fashion industry. Meanwhile, her boyfriend seems to share her creative inclinations as Puglia is a photographer and skateboarder.
Although they’ve only been together for two years, it looks like the couple has gotten serious with their relationship. Ciccone has even met Puglia’s parents on a visit to their family home in Ohio where she impressed his mom Lori, who works as a hairdresser. And she’s not the only one who approves. A friend of the couple told Radar that the two are very much in love and that everybody thinks they’re a great fit for each other even though they come from differing backgrounds.
Most importantly, Ciccone’s mother, Madonna, reportedly approves of their relationship, too.
Unlike Mom
Meanwhile, the ‘Material Girl’ singer first married when she was in her late 20s. Her first marriage was to the actor Sean Penn whom she wed in 1985 as she was trying to break into acting. They separated years later in 1989 with rumors of infidelity and domestic abuse being attached to the relationship.
The pop diva married once again in 2000 this time to the English filmmaker and businessman Guy Ritchie. Unfortunately, they only lasted until 2008 before calling it quits and Madonna has never married again.
She had Ciccone together with a former flame, Carlos Leon, who is a Cuban actor. The Queen of Pop also had a child with her ex Ritchie, a son Rocco, who’s now 18 years old. Not to mention, Madonna has four adopted children as well, namely, David Banda and Mercy James adopted in 2006 and 2009 respectively, and the twins Stella and Esther adopted just two years ago.
Former Flame
Before meeting her current boyfriend, Ciccone was linked to the young actor Timothee Chalamet years prior. They were reportedly dating each other in 2013 having met at the New York City school La Guardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts where they were both enrolled in at the time.
In an interview with Andy Cohen, the up and coming actor revealed that he and Ciccone still talk as he said that the 22-year-old was ‘excited’ to watch one of his films.
